The Lamino collection includes a chair, a footrest and a side table. Sweden - 1960-1969 - Wood, Oak. Early edition Yngve Ekstrom Lamino high back lounge chair. The original laminated oak frame is in excellent condition. The flared armrest and the bent legs are elegant details of this design. The ‘Lamino’ chair was designed in 1951 by Yngve Ekström and manufactured by his company, Swedese, based outside of Nässjö. The listed piece has a new long haired sheepskin.

Yngve Ekström (1913–1988) was a Swedish architect, designer and co-founder of the furniture brand Swedese. His best-known design is the Lamino chair designed for Swedese in 1956. In addition to his own company, Ekström designed furniture for Stolab and other Swedish manufacturers.
